First Silent Iranian Movie


Hajii Agha is very first silent movie which had made in 1932 by Hovhannes Ohanian. he was an Armenian immigrant who established an acting school in Tehran in 1930. The story is about an Iranian girl who wants to be an actress but his father is a religious person. The movies tries to show how was difficult for an Iranian girl to at in a film and culture and religion could make problems in that time.
